I am a portrait photographer located in Marysville, OH specializing in children, families and high school seniors. I love to capture real personalities in images. Throw away all your ideas about stuffy, posed, uncomfortable portrait sessions and just be yourself.
My love of photography is inspired daily by my husband and children. My two children never cease to show me their personalities. I have a very supportive group of family and friends who also encourage my creativity. They constantly allow me to hone my creative skills and to practice new techniques.
I've always been fascinated with photography and the stories that photos tell. My family always had photo albums around and I would sit and flip through the pages over and over. In high school I joined the Camera Club and stole my mom's camera every chance I got. She eventually bought me my own point-and-shoot for graduation. Fast forward a few years...as a wedding gift, my husband gave me my first film SLR. I was totally hooked! I eventually upgraded to a DSLR. I am always learning to try and get the best possible images I can.
